Abiotic and Biotic factors are need for survivle for any animal livinng in the savanna. For example, lions need tall, high grass to stalk their prey in silence. Another animal such as a vulture would rely on carivores ( Because they kill the other animals which is food for the vulture) and dead animals that have died from diseases or old age. These are some examples on how animals living in the savanna need abiotic and biotic factors to live.

Special Adaptions: Many animals have adapted to the life of the savanna. For example, giraffes have adapted by drinking water when there is water , though they can go without water for long periods of time. Another example, is elephants. Elephants have devolped tusks to protect themselves. These are two exmaples of ways animals have addapted to the amazing life of the savanna.

There are many different types of animals living in savannas. Here are some:
Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Okapis, Snakes, Crocodiles, Zebras, Antelopes, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Hyenas, Elephants, Rhinos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Foxes, Hares, Lemurs, Crowned Crane, Kori Bustards,Savannah Cat etc.

Vultures:
One of the decomposers that live in a savanna is vultures.
Vultures help clean up dead animals by eating their carcase after
the animal has died from sickness or death by another animal. This
is the main role of the vulture in a savanna.
